He earned his General Medical Degree and Specialist Level I in Neurosurgery from the University of Medicine and Pharmacy at Ho Chi Minh City, with extensive clinical service at Thu Duc Regional General Hospital. Dr. Duan has undergone advanced specialized training in Minimally Invasive Spine Surgery (MIS), conservative and operative management of herniated discs, spinal degeneration, and motor nerve injuries.
